Why a Tea Party?

There is so much still unknown about tea!

We’ve replaced our instant coffee for freshly ground plunger coffee, but still continue to drink the same stale tea bags, day after day, while there is a wealth of fresh, whole, loose leaf teas available and ready to be enjoyed…!

It’s the unknown that stops us!

What teas are there? What quantities should I use? How long should the tea infuse / brew for? What about water temperature? How do I tell the difference between good tea and bad tea? The questions go on…. and so we continue to drink low quality tea!

During your tea party, our tea consultant will guide you through the steps of choosing a tea, then making your pot of tea. This hands-on experience will enrich and simplify the perhaps daunting task of brewing loose-leaf tea.

Then you will be able to taste test many other tea varieties that your friends and family have prepared, experiencing many of Tielka’s premium teas.

You can also learn about other aspects, including tea types, tea health benefits, food pairing, fair trade and tea, tea history and so on… just ask your consultant!
